Accessing the User Admin Application
User and permission management is handled through the User Admin application, accessible from the main menu of the TLEX Interchange platform.
Creating and Editing Users
- Open the User Admin application to view your organization.
- Click on the organization name to access its detailed view.
- Use the “Edit” button in the top-right corner to update the organization’s description.
- Use the “Add/Edit”button to:
- Create new users (Contacts)
- Update existing users
- Delete users
To add a new user:
- Enter the user’s name and email address.
- Click “Add Data”.
- The user will receive an email invitation to activate their account.
Assigning Permissions
To assign or modify user permissions:
- Expand the user entry using the arrow icon.
- Click “Set Permissions.”
- Select the appropriate permission and click “Add Data.”
- Click “Save” to apply the changes.
⚠️ If you don’t click “Save,” the changes will not be implemented.
Available Permission Types
- TLEX Interchange Administration
Grants access to configure:- Actors
- Capabilities
- Policies
- Static subscriptions and deliveries
- User Administration
Grants access to manage:- Users
- Permissions
All users automatically have access to the TLEX Interchange Dashboard.
