As part of the Dutch "Talking Traffic" initiative, UDAP (Urban Data Access Platform) enables traffic authorities to manage traffic flows better while allowing service providers to offer improved real-time traffic data. UDAP acts as a neutral platform, allowing various public and private stakeholders to exchange data efficiently to optimize urban mobility. UDAP is designed to securely connect vehicles with road infrastructure (V2X) in real-time. It facilitates, via the TLEX® system, bidirectional data exchange between intelligent traffic lights, sensors, and road users to enhance safety, sustainability, and traffic flow.
