Starting guide DITM code sharing

Modified on Fri, 28 Jul, 2023 at 1:16 PM

For DITM code sharing some Github repositories are made available. This quick start guide gives an overview of the steps required to get read and/or write access to these repositories and how to apply for additional repositories.

All repositories are part of a Github organisation specifically for DITM, which is managed by Monotch. Access is granted on a by-user level based on Github accounts. This means registering for a personal Github account is mandatory.

Detailed instructions on how to apply for access or additional repositories are mentioned below.

How to apply for read-only access to a repository
Send a ticket toSupport

  • Create a new FreshDesk support ticket by clicking on “New Support Ticket” on  Support .

  • Provide us with the name of your organisation and the email address of your Github account.
-Read access is granted automatically to all repositories in the Github DITM organisation.
-You will receive a reply on the support ticket and a invitation will be send to your email address.

  • NOTE: The invitation will expire in 7 days.

How to apply for write access for a repository

Each repository contains a readme file in the root which lists the owner of the repository. Contact the owner directly to request write access.

How to apply for an additional repository
Send a ticket toSupport

  • Create a new FreshDesk support ticket by clicking on “New Support Ticket” on  Support .

  • Provide us with the name of your organisation, the email address of your Github account and the desired name for the repository.

  • The requester of the repository will be marked as owner of the new repo. The name of the requester will be added to a readme file in the root of the repository so other users know who to contact to get write access.
